We know you don’t want to spend your student life worrying about your student house. Thats why we have made everything as simple and straightforward as it can be. Even better all of our properties are finished to a very high standard, and some are brand new.

All of our student houses comply with each councils regulations, and often go far beyond this. We have fitted out most of our properties with high speed internet, large communal living areas and double beds.  

We currently have house, flats and studios in 6 cities for several different universities including; University of Bath & Bath Spa University, Bristol University & UWE, Plymouth University, Swansea University and the University of Central Lancashire.

Meet our Team

We have a small but very experienced and enthusiastic team focused on ensuring that all of your accommodation needs are met. It will help us to resolve any queries or issues more quickly if these are addressed to the appropriate member of the team as below:

David and Suzanne at Metro

Landlords

Suzanne & David Peterman

Suzanne and David Peterman deal with any major non routine matters. 

They can also be contacted directly if you are not happy with the way anything has been dealt with by the responsible member of the team.

David & Suzanne set up Metro in 1998, which has grown, successfully covering 5 major university cities.

David & Suzanne continue to be closely involved with the business, in particular ensuring that the properties are kept in good condition and involved with any major issues related to the tenancies.

Outside of the office they both enjoy boating and spending time on the river.

Rent and Payments

Jan Siddell

Jan deals with all financial matters including rent and repayment of deposits.

Jan deals with everything to do with money, collection of rents and payments to suppliers.

Jan joined very soon after the business was started and has been working in the business for around 20 years.

During her personal time, Jan enjoys concerts and festivals.

Janet and Teresa at Metro

Administration

Janet Tinnion & Teresa Vaughan

Janet and Teresa deal with all matters related to property viewings, rental agreements, and general administration.

Janet manages advertising and the issuing of tenancy agreements, arranging viewings and general administration and has been with Metro for 7 years

Outside of the office Janet spends her time with family and friends in between trying to train, what may be, an untrainable terrier called Milo.

Teresa has been with Metro for 2 years and works across all areas of the business, supporting the rest of the team.

In her spare time Teresa enjoys renovating her home and planning holidays with or without her grown up family.

Sandra at Metro

Maintenance

Sandra Haines

Sandra deals with all matters related to property maintenance like water leaks, furniture replacement, gardens and rubbish.

Sandra deals with arranging maintenance and ensuring all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Sandra has been working with Metro for around 10 years, so very experienced and well aware of what needs to be done!

Sandra is an extremely talented artist, and supplies the office with beautiful home grown vegetables from her allotment – the woman never stops!
