Student Transport Links in Preston
Preston is well served by train linking the city to the rest of the UK and by investing in a 16-25 Railcard, you will benefit from good savings on standard class rail tickets, the cost is £30 but you will soon make that back on a few trips. By train, from Preston you can be in Liverpool, Manchester or the Lake District within an hour or Blackpool in 30 minutes. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the Jazz Bar & Guild Tavern.
The Jazz Bar & Guild Tavern are both a minutes’ walk from the main shopping area, Fishergate, where you have many bars, coffee bars, clubs, restaurants and shops and also a 10 minute walk to the Uni, you honestly couldn’t get accommodation more central.
If you have a large group you can always take two flats and have a whole floor for you and your friends.
