Bath offers a host of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and gastropubs catering for all tastes, and along with great shopping offering both independent boutiques and high street names, you couldn’t ask for more, and don’t forget your NUS card as many offer student discounts that you don’t want to miss!
Make sure you walk the Bath Skyline, this is a six mile walk that offers incredible views of the city and doubles up as a great running route too!
Transport for Students in Bath
Bath Spa train station is just a 5 minute stroll from our properties offering great links to the South West region and regular high speed services to London too. Don’t forget to invest in a 16-25 Railcard, giving good savings on standard class rail tickets, the cost is £30 but you will soon make that back on a few trips.
The bus station is a minutes’ walk from the train station with frequent services to London Victoria as well a direct bus service to Bristol Airport which is a mere 20 miles away.
Bath offers a great local bus service and our two houses also sit on the direct bus route to Uni! Our houses are a few doors apart on Wells Road, just a short walk to the city centre and Bath Spa train station.
