Things for Students to do in Bristol
Bristol offers many festivals throughout the year, one of the most famous being the International Balloon Fiesta which takes place in August and along with the many food and drink events in the city, what’s not to love about Bristol! And with over 400 gardens and parks in Bristol you are never too far from some open green space either.
Bristol offers a host of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and gastropubs catering for all tastes, and along with great shopping offering both independent boutiques and high street names, you couldn’t ask for more, and don’t forget your NUS card as many offer student discounts that you don’t want to miss! Don’t forget the amazing Cabot Circus offering a one stop shop for dining, entertainment and shopping.

Our properties are all located in St Andrews, one of the most popular student areas in Bristol. They are close to Gloucester Road with its’ colourful independent shops and eateries, the whole area resembles an outdoor gallery which changes with alarming regularity and all our properties are within easy walking distance of this great area.
Student Transport Options in Bristol
Bristol is a great sized city to make you way around on foot, and cycling is very popular too.
Bristol is served by two train stations, Temple Meads (a short walk from the city centre) and Parkway (on the outskirts of the city) offering great links to the South West and London. Don’t forget to invest in a 16-25 Railcard, giving good savings on standard class rail tickets, the cost is £30 but you will soon make that back on a few trips.
All our properties are also within a short walk of the Montpelier train station, linking you to the rest of the city and there is a bus stop on the route to UWE and Bristol Uni on the door step of our property in Cromwell Road.
